The green electrical panel was founded with the aim of creating a direct supply and demand market, popularizing the renewable economy and creating a competitive environment for electricity exchange.
In this ceremony, Kamani said about the benefits of investors entering the energy exchange: With the entry of renewable energies into the stock market, the government’s interference in pricing will disappear, and also the buyer is obliged to pay the price to the electricity supplier on time according to the regulations of the exchange. In this regard, the problem of investors’ claims will also be resolved. He also reminded: Industries that purchase their electricity from the green electricity board will not be subject to electricity restrictions during peak hours.
Renewable electricity producers can supply their electricity in the derivative market of the green electricity board with the approval of SATBA, and also consumers, which include industries, government buildings and cryptocurrency miners, can from now on purchase electricity supplied in the energy exchange.
He continued: We predict that despite the creation of a new space, the development of renewable energy will accelerate and new people will enter the field of investment in this field.
The Deputy Minister of Energy said: Industries will not be subject to electricity restrictions during peak times as long as they purchase their electricity from the green electricity board.
According to Article 16 – in line with the development of knowledge-based industries related to renewable energies and the development of the market for these industries and the production of clean electricity at the point of consumption, industries with a consumption power of more than one megawatt are required to provide one percent (1%) of the required electricity to provide themselves annually through the construction of renewable power plants and this amount will reach at least five percent (5%) at the end of the fifth year of the program. Otherwise, the Ministry of Energy is obliged to calculate the mentioned percentage of the electricity consumed by these industries with the renewable electricity tariff and collect it from the industries.
Ali Naqvi, CEO of the Iran Energy Exchange, pointed out the help of this market to prevent blackouts in the summer by setting up a green switchboard and said: Based on the plans, it is supposed that in the next stages, other renewable power plants will be accepted and possible in the Energy Exchange. Their exchanges should be provided in this market.
He added: Currently, the share of Asia and the Pacific in the renewable energy market is 35%, and the value of the renewable energy market in the world will be 2 thousand billion dollars by 2030.
According to the CEO of Energy Exchange; Saudi Arabia supplies 50%, Pakistan 30% and the United Arab Emirates 75% of its energy from renewable sources.
According to him; Green electricity transactions are in the form of monthly advance transactions.
In the same direction and in the first stage of the project, 6 renewable power plants that were put into operation in 1401 obtained the license to sell electricity on the Sabze Energy Exchange board and their symbol was displayed on the board on the opening day of the exchange and the CEOs of these companies received their operating license from They received from the Minister of Energy.
Poya Energy Production and Development Company, which is the owner of the 10 MW Poya Semnan solar power plant, according to the commissioning of the power plant on 11/11/1401 and the injection of produced clean energy into the national grid, after obtaining the necessary permits from SATBA and Iran’s power grid management as One of the leading companies has started to supply and sell electricity produced in the green board of the Energy Exchange.
In the first stage of supply, this company has sold 1,488,000 kilowatt hours of its produced energy for consumption in July of this year in the green panel. And in the second stage, he ordered the same amount for supply in August.
